Bắp cải tách lá, rồi cắt miếng vừa ăn, rửa sạch bắp cải, để ráo nước. Tỏi lột vỏ, gừng bào bỏ vỏ, cắt lát cả hai. Ớt khô cắt khúc nhỏ. Thịt ba chỉ rửa sạch, xắt lát mỏng.

Làm nóng chảo với dầu ăn, cho thịt ba chỉ vào đảo qua cho chín tái. Sau đó thêm tỏi gừng lát, ớt khô và tiêu Tứ Xuyên, 5ml rượu gạo vào đảo đều lên. Khi thấy thịt hơi cháy xém cạnh thì rưới 15ml nước mắm vào, rồi cho bắp cải vào xào cùng. Nêm 15ml dầu hào, 1/4 muỗng muối vào chảo, xào cho đến khi tất cả đều chín thì tắt bếp.
