Great for keeping the “older” mind working!
I bought this for someone just diagnosed with mild dementia and severe depression. They loved it because of the larger letters but also because it keeps them entertained and their mind active. I’m so grateful to have found this book and will look for more to help her!
Thoroughly enjoyable and a good value
I will be enjoying this book for a long time. It has twice as many puzzles as similar books at a lower price-per-puzzle cost. It features a nice eclectic variety of puzzle themes, including Dust, Maple Syrup and Paintball. I got a kick out of seeing Warhol included in the list of words for Canned Soup. My pet peeve is seeing the same word used repeatedly in different puzzles. I guess in a book of more than 7500 words I should expect some repeated words in the different puzzles, but "Food" appears in over 20 puzzles and "Children" appears in at least 11 puzzles. Other words also appear multiple times. Aside from that, the book is well designed with easy-to-read large print. There are no solutions in the back, but they are not really needed anyway, and it saves paper for an already thick book.
Large Print word search
My mother loves word search so I I bought this book for my her. The large print is great for elderly people so that they don't strain their eyes. She loves it!.
Best word search book. Large print a bonus!
I received a Funster word search puzzle for Valentines Day from my daughter. She said she had found her anxiety reducing with the puzzles she had. I loved the large print but the book was heavy and bothered a shoulder I am having to replace because of arthritis. It normally would have been fine weight wise but not just for my situation. I cut along the lines and took out several to work on. This also allowed me to take some with me on the go. Tonight I took the whole book apart. I just attach them to a clip board. That is mobile as well and the clip board is a hard surface to work on. I bought another brand but I will go back to Funster.

I love how big the letters are I get these for my old mom keep her entertained wile we are on lock down lol smh
Great for a person who needs large print
An excellent gift for the puzzler who needs large print. There are a variety of interesting puzzles for hours and hours of entertainment.
Is usable.
I had forgotten my other book was a spiral bound book. That is much easier to use. This one does not have it. It also does not have the answers in the back. They are helpful to me when I am stuck on finding a word. Letters are large enough for me and pages do tear out. It depends on your choice.
Very Mentally Stimulating
I love word search puzzles. The only problem has been having enough of them around for when I want the mental stimulation they give. Well, this big book of word search puzzles will not only keep me mentally stimulated; it will keep me stimulated for quite awhile!
Not Quite
Love the large print but I think it's a little too large and makes finding the words too easy.
Best of the word search books
I've used a lot of word search books, and Funster is by far the best. The large font is great; there are many more words per puzzle than some books; the words are not just "stacked" in a row like in some books but rather are hidden all over the puzzle, including both diagonals; and the themes are interesting and fun. The paper is good quality. I just tear out each page and put it on my clipboard. It's the best!
